Our commitment

RemediADA builds accessibility tooling, so our own website has to walk the walk. We aim for full conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We design for keyboard users, screen-reader users, users who rely on high contrast, and users who need to zoom or reflow content at 200% or more.

Conformance

Conformance status

remediada.com is designed and tested to conform with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Conform" means that every page passes the automated rule set plus the manual checks described below at the time of publication. Where a page does not yet fully conform, we document the gap in the "Known limitations" section and track it in our internal issue tracker with a target remediation date.

Measures

Measures we take

• Every pull request runs our own scanner (axe-core + keyboard navigation test + AI visual audit) against the affected pages. Critical and serious violations block merge.
• We use semantic HTML (nav, main, section, header, footer) and ARIA landmarks so assistive technology can jump around the page.
• Every interactive control has a visible focus indicator with at least 3:1 contrast against its background, and every form field has an associated label.
• Typography uses relative units (rem), supports 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling, and meets WCAG 1.4.3 contrast requirements (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and UI components).
• We test with VoiceOver on macOS, NVDA on Windows, and full keyboard navigation (no mouse) at every major release.
• Our rich interactive components (dialogs, tabs, expandable rows) follow the ARIA Authoring Practices Guide patterns.

Conformance is assessed using a combination of:

• Automated scans with axe-core 4.11 against WCAG 2.1 A and AA tags.
• Automated keyboard navigation walk-throughs with full video recording of every Tab press.
• AI-powered visual audits of full-page screenshots for issues DOM scanners cannot detect (text over images, small touch targets, image-of-text, color-only meaning).
• Manual testing with VoiceOver and NVDA on representative pages.
• Manual keyboard-only testing on every release.

Known limitations

No page is ever 100% conformant at every moment. Current known gaps are tracked internally and published on this page with estimated resolution dates as they are discovered. If you find a barrier that is not listed here, please tell us using the feedback channel below.
