Our commitment

RemediADA builds accessibility tooling, so our own website should meet the bar we check other sites against. This statement covers remediada.com, including the dashboard and the reports we show you there.

Standard

The standard we target

We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. For visitors in the European Union we refer to EN 301 549 V3.2.1, the version that is the legal reference today; its clause 9 applies WCAG to web content.

Conformance

remediada.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That means some content does not fully conform yet or has not been assessed; the known cases are listed under "Known limitations".

Measures

Measures we take

• For the pages we built or changed in our September 2026 releases, listed under "How and when we assessed", we rendered each page in a real browser at a desktop width and a phone width, ran axe-core against the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 Level A and AA rules, fixed what it reported before release, and checked that the page does not scroll sideways at phone width.
• These checks are part of our own release gates for those pages. They do not run automatically on every pull request, and a release does not re-check every page on the site.
• Pages use semantic HTML landmarks (header, navigation, main content and footer) so assistive technology can move between regions.
• Wide tables sit in scrollable regions that you can reach and scroll with the keyboard.

Assessment

How and when we assessed

Last assessed on September 27, 2026, by automated testing only. This statement page and our Terms, Privacy, Refund, Data Processing Agreement, Sub-processors, Methodology and Security pages were checked with axe-core at 1280 and 390 pixel widths and reported no violations. In September 2026 the same checks ran on the product pages for documents, apps and the European Accessibility Act, the pricing page, the navigation and footer, and the dashboard screens for coverage and add-ons, with no violations.

Automated tools find only part of the barriers people meet. No test with a screen reader, or by a person using only a keyboard, has been recorded for this site.

Limitations

Known limitations

• The PDF version of an audit report is not a tagged PDF, so screen readers cannot read its structure. The same report is available as a web page in your dashboard, and we recommend that version.
• We have not run our automated checks across every page of the site in a single pass, so pages outside the list above may have issues we have not found.
• We have not recorded a screen reader or keyboard-only test of the site.
• On our methodology page, some sections put grey and dark text directly on the animated background, and the contrast is too low in places. Automated checks cannot measure contrast over that background, so they do not report it.
• Some of the emails we send have a contrast issue when opened in Outlook.
• Payment happens on Stripe's hosted checkout page. Its accessibility is Stripe's responsibility, not ours.
