Guarantee
30-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with a one-time audit or a one-time remediation purchase, ask for a refund within 30 days of the payment and we refund the full price to the original payment method. Subscriptions and add-ons are refundable for the most recent payment, as the table below sets out.
By purchase
What you can get back, and what happens next
| Purchase | Refund window | What the refund does |
|---|---|---|
| One-time audit | 30 days from payment, full price | Any fixes we applied for your account are reverted, and your account's paid service is suspended. |
| One-time remediation | 30 days from payment, full price | Every fix we applied for your account is reverted, and your account's paid service is suspended. |
| Monitoring, monthly | The most recent monthly payment only | Every fix we applied for your account is reverted, and your account's paid service is suspended. |
| Monitoring, annual | 30 days from the first annual payment | Every fix we applied for your account is reverted, and your account's paid service is suspended. |
| Agency White Label, monthly | The most recent monthly payment only | Every fix we applied for your account is reverted, and your account's paid service is suspended. |
| Add-ons (EAA, Document Fix, App Source, Android App, iPhone App, SEO Growth, SEO Pro) | The most recent monthly payment only | A full refund of the latest payment cancels the add-on and stops its billing. If the add-on is billed on the same subscription as another plan, access to the add-on ends and we remove only the add-on from that subscription, without proration; the other plan keeps billing as before. A renewal invoice Stripe had already drafted can still charge the add-on once; we refund that charge. A partial refund, or a refund of an earlier payment, keeps the add-on active. No fixes are reverted and the rest of your account is unaffected. |
Fixes
Refunds revert fixes
A refund of anything other than an add-on, full or partial, reverts the fixes we applied for your account. This happens automatically as soon as the refund is issued. You cannot take the refund and keep the fixes.
One exception is a separate purchase that we can link to your account only through that purchase (for example, a purchase made with your account's email address without signing in to the account, or a plan subscription your account has since replaced). A refund of it revokes that purchase and reverts only the fixes it paid for. Your account is not suspended.
- WordPress, Shopify, Webflow and Squarespace. The system writes the original content back through the same API that applied each fix, using the snapshot taken before the change.
- GitHub, patches and anything you applied yourself. We cannot undo a change you merged or applied. The original content stays in your fix history so you can restore it, and we will help if you ask.
Reverting our changes brings back the accessibility issues they fixed, along with any legal exposure those issues carry. We are not responsible for issues that return because of a reversion.
Apart from that exception, a refund of anything other than an add-on also suspends your account's paid service. To keep using the Service afterwards, contact us. A refund of a monitoring payment does not cancel the monitoring subscription itself: cancel it from your dashboard, or ask us to cancel it when you request the refund.
How to ask
Requesting a refund
Email support@remediada.com from the address on your account, with the purchase you want refunded. Stripe returns the money to the original payment method; your bank or card issuer decides how long it takes to appear on your statement.
Requests after the refund window are at our discretion.
Disputes
Chargebacks
Please ask us for a refund before you dispute a charge with your bank. A dispute has its own automatic effects on fixes, add-ons and billing, described in Section 18 of the Terms of Service.
